Lolo grew up in a bilingual family between Germany, China, and later studied in New Zealand.
Since her university days, she has been translating children’s books between Chinese, English, and German. She then left the traditional path to learn the skills she truly loved and built a life shaped by her dreams.
In her early thirties, Lolo shifted from running companies to embracing life as an artist — roams the world with her backpack — filming, writing, playing guitar in the mountains, and sharing magical stories of love and life’s beautiful growth.
 
Now, she’s the one behind the scenes making those interesting picture books - all stories come from her own films and photos, with the help from her AI friends - she turns her real-world adventures with Shirley into illustrations and creative materials for Himalala Bilingual! 📖🌍🎒

Shirley is the kind of teacher who greets you like a friend, sings you into confidence, and makes language feel as easy as humming your favorite tune. 💕 After years abroad, she now brings her rich language experience into one-on-one lessons filled with warmth, laughter, and real-life talk. No need to memorize lists or get stuck on grammar — just start speaking, and let Shirley guide you.
 
Her secret? Encouragement + fun! She helps kids build the courage to speak, without worrying about making mistakes. 🎈Her classroom is like a magical house that sings - full of kindness, gentle encouragement, and lots of “You can do it!” moments. 💬🌸 She believes learning languages isn’t just for exams -  it’s for sharing thoughts, feelings, and dreams.
 
And guess what? Both of them are also musicians! Shirley sings and Lolo plays guitar! 🎤 Together, they formed Himalala Music, traveling the world while singing and teaching. If your child loves music, Shirley can teach them to sing in English and Chinese -  from sweet little songs to fun pop tunes. It’s a great way to build pronunciation, rhythm, and confidence, all while having a blast.
